Every Notice, Logged

When a member of Congress’s page is published or materially updated, this site notifies their press office — a notice and right of reply, the way a newsroom contacts someone before publishing about them. This page is the complete send log.

The standing rules

  • One notice, every office, both parties. A single template; only the member’s own facts (name, page link, standing) are substituted. Nothing in the wording varies by party — a test fails the build if it ever does.
  • What the notice contains: the member’s page link, the methodology, and the corrections process — disputes acknowledged within 3 days, resolved or status-reported within 30, every correction logged in the changelog.
  • Opt-outs are permanent. One “unsubscribe” reply and an office is never contacted again.
  • Every send lands on this page. The ledger below is append-only and published with the site itself.

The ledger

No notices have been sent yet. The program’s rules are published here first, before the first send — so the standard was public before anyone could be accused of missing it.

0 notices sent to date. Contact addresses are never published here — offices’ press contacts are logged by member name only.
